Afternoon Outing

Launched at 3pm to an outgoing tide. Winds were 5-10 from the north/northwest.

Trolled against the current but had some west in the winds to help out. No hits on the troll. Tossed the jig towards the grass shoreline and channel. Found a spec immediately towards the channel. 15".  Worked some more and the current was picking as the current and winds were working against each other.  Found a school tail biters and landed a perch.
The 4pm bridgelift sounded so I headed over to fish Little Island to get some shelter. Found some more little tail biters but nothing else. Little boat traffic so I moved back over to the other side and continued to fish the shoreline. Picked up a nice puppy drum @ 16".  Moved up towards the mouth creek to work in outgoing from the creek. Got a few bites and hooked up with another puppy @ 16".  A few more bites but no hook ups. Lots of bait working the water.

Trolled back home with no hits.  Out of the water at 5pm.

Used a camera this time versus my phone. I'd rather risk a $100 camera than have to replace a $400 phone.  Need to look at the waterproof cameras soon.
